- The schedule makers send the team on the road to face the Cardinals, Chiefs, Bears, Lions, Rams, Saints, Seahawks and Broncos. Certainly, the divisional matchups make it tougher. Taking those games out, the 49ers still face a strong Chiefs team who--with the help of their loyal fans--have made Arrowhead Stadium the toughest place to play in the NFL. The Bears possess a downright dominating defense, and look to repeat as division champs. The Lions, on the other hand, should be a winnable game. The Saints have remarkably revamped their team, and should be no easy task. Invesco Field at Mile High, where the Broncos play, is also an incredibly difficult place to win. Once again, the Broncos should be playoff bound, and have historically been a good home team.
